Terms and Conditions for Ubin Trails

Welcome to Ubin Trails. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our online platform and car rental services. By accessing this website and utilizing our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Ubin Trails if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Definitions

• "Company" refers to Ubin Trails, located at 23 Loyang Way, #01-08 Loyang Enterprise Building, Singapore, Singapore, 508729.
• "Client," "You," "Your" refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions.
• "Service" refers to the car rental services provided by Ubin Trails, including short-term rentals, long-term leases, luxury car rentals, minivan and SUV rentals, corporate solutions, airport transfers, and chauffeur services.
• "Vehicle" refers to any car, minivan, SUV, or other automobile rented, leased, or utilized through our Service.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Rental Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible to rent a Vehicle from Ubin Trails, the Client must:

• Possess a valid driver's license for at least two years.
• Be at least 21 years of age, or as otherwise specified by the vehicle category or rental agreement.
• Present a valid credit card in the renter's name for security deposit and payment.
• Provide a valid identification document (e.g., passport, national ID card).

3. Reservation and Booking

• All reservations are subject to Vehicle availability.
• A confirmation email detailing the rental period, Vehicle type, and pricing will be sent upon successful booking.
• Ubin Trails reserves the right to substitute a Vehicle of equivalent or higher class if the reserved Vehicle is unavailable.
• Cancellations must be made within the timeframe specified in your booking confirmation to avoid cancellation fees.

4. Rental Period and Return

• The rental period begins at the agreed-upon pick-up time and ends at the agreed-upon return time.
• Late returns may incur additional charges at the prevailing daily rate.
• The Vehicle must be returned to the agreed-upon location in the same condition as it was rented, normal wear and tear excepted.

5. Pricing and Payments

• All rental rates are inclusive of standard insurance unless otherwise specified. Taxes and fees may apply.
• A security deposit will be authorized on the Client's credit card and released upon the satisfactory return of the Vehicle.
• Additional charges may apply for fuel discrepancies, excess mileage, cleaning fees, traffic violations, and damages not covered by insurance.
• Payment for services is due at the time of Vehicle pick-up unless otherwise arranged for corporate accounts or long-term leases.

6. Vehicle Use and Responsibilities

• The Client is responsible for operating the Vehicle in accordance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
• The Vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, off-roading, or towing.
• Only authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement may operate the Vehicle.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in all Ubin Trails Vehicles. A cleaning fee will be imposed for violations.
• In case of breakdown or accident, the Client must immediately contact Ubin Trails.

7. Insurance and Liabilities

• All Vehicles are insured with basic third-party liability coverage.
• Clients are responsible for any damages or losses to the Vehicle up to the insurance excess amount, unless additional waivers or insurance options are purchased.
• Ubin Trails is not responsible for personal belongings left in the Vehicle after the rental period.

8. Chauffeur Services and Airport Transfers

• Specific terms and conditions apply to chauffeur services and airport transfers, which will be provided at the time of booking.
• Wait times, cancellation policies, and special requests for these services are subject to separate agreements.

9. Website Usage

• The content of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
• Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.
• Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

11. Amendments to Terms

Ubin Trails reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time as it sees fit, and by using this website, you are expected to review these terms on a regular basis.
